**THE OPPORTUNITY**
Young Health Service is a 32-bed facility with 21 hospital care beds, 5 maternity beds, and 6 day surgery chairs. They provide a full range of community health services including community nursing, allied health, and mental health services. This modern hospital operates 24 hours and is seeking an experienced CMO to assist in their Emergency Department, which is equipped with telehealth cameras to connect the team to specialists through the Critical Care Advisory Service (CCAS). This opportunity has come about due to the location management provided by Medical Directions which saw the need for an additional doctor to be introduced. Averaging around 28 patients per day, approximately 60% of these are Category 4&5 seen by the adjacent Fast Track clinic. With only 2 hour drive northwest of Canberra, this is an ideal FIFO chance.

Known as the 'Cherry capital of Australia,' Young is part of the hilltops region and is home to approximately 11800 people. Located about 2 hours away from Wagga Wagga, 2 hours northwest of Canberra, and 5 hours from Sydney, Young is emerging as one of the most exciting regions in Australia - with a multitude of fine quality vineyards, cafes, restaurants, and clubs to enjoy.
**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**
To be eligible for this position you must have ALS2, be comfortable working a a sole doctor and you must have full AHPRA registration and Australian working right, with extensive emergency experience.
