Key Account Manager Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our team. As a critical customer-facing role, this position offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to influence real outcomes across Victoria's northern and western industrial corridor.
The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of customers based in Melbourne, protecting and growing our market share by strengthening existing relationships, driving account performance, and delivering on revenue and margin targets.
Responsibilities:
* Manage customer accounts to meet sales, margin, and service targets.
* Identify, convert, and retain new business opportunities to grow market share.
* Coordinate pricing, forecasting, and negotiation of commercial terms.
* Collaborate with internal departments to deliver end-to-end account solutions.
* Monitor debtors, customer feedback, and delivery performance.
* Support cost and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in account management, sales, or customer service in a B2B or manufacturing setting.
* Commercially astute with a strong understanding of pricing, margins, and negotiation.
* Highly effective communicator and problem solver with the ability to influence outcomes.
* Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
* A proactive, team-first mindset with a customer-focused approach.
* Ability to build lasting relationships and collaborate with internal departments for mutual success.
