Job Opportunity: Animal Feed Production
We are seeking a reliable and punctual individual to join our team as a Plant Operator. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our extrusion plant and associated machinery.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Safely operating the extrusion plant and associated machinery
* Assisting with maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns
* Accurately weighing and measuring ingredients
* Completing production records accurately
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of systems and processes
* Performing regular cleaning of equipment and work area
* Working efficiently and safely as part of a cohesive team
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Good physical fitness with safe manual handling skills, and the ability to repetitively lift up to 25kg
* Mechanically minded with demonstrated experience operating machinery
* Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
* A flexible attitude with good communication skills and a can-do approach
* Commitment to producing high-quality products while adhering to safety standards
* A current driver's licence and reliable transportation
* A current forklift licence is preferred
