Join DOF as our new Warehouse Assistant
DOF Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join our team at our Kewdale Warehouse.
About the role
Reporting to the Logistics, Assets and Warehouse Manager and working closely with the Warehouse Team, the Warehouse Assistant will support the coordination of equipment for project activities. This role will involve maintaining logistics and customs requirements for shipments to and from Australian and international ports, ensuring compliance with DOF and client requirements. The Warehouse Assistant will also support the safe and proper storage of items, assist with general warehouse maintenance, and generate invoices and reports.
Responsibilities
* Unload and receive purchased items and CPI (Company Provided Items), inspecting all goods to confirm compliance with DOF requirements.
* Assist in the unloading and packaging of Dangerous Goods.
* Forklift operations (as necessary).
* Assist in the generation of Non-Conformance Reports and Vendor Reports.
* Coordinate goods for shipment and goods to be sent for repair, ensuring that appropriate documentation is produced.
* Assist in general warehouse cleaning and maintenance.
Requirements
* Qualification in Warehousing or Logistics (preferred).
* Relevant experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment (preferred).
* Class C Driver's License.
* Forklift Ticket (preferred), or willing to complete.
* Experience using an electronic inventory/warehousing system is advantageous.
* High-level attention to detail.
