Our client is an established Asian resources conglomerate, currently undergoing global market expansion through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions. To support its ambitious growth trajectory, a rare opportunity has arisen for a dynamic human resources leader to lead groupwide leadership and talent development and holding company human resources for a fast growing Asian Resources Conglomerate, to be based in Indonesia or Australia.
Responsibilities
In this strategic role, you will be responsible for building a resilient leadership pipeline by operationalizing global talent management and succession planning strategies, while delivering impactful leadership programs that align with the group's objectives. You will refine and execute a competency framework in line with the company's growth ambitions, working closely with top management and external partners such as prestigious academic institutions to develop and implement tailored leadership solutions-whether on an individual, cohort, or team-based level. Drawing on the latest insights in talent and leadership best practices, you will continuously refine the Group's talent development strategies to maximize impact and drive performance. You will also be responsible for all aspects of Human Resources for the holding company and play a key role in developing Human Resources best practices across the group. This highly visible role offers the potential for progression into other senior HR leadership positions within the organization.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in executive leadership development and talent management both in large, complex multinational organizations as well as fast growing mid sized companies, ideally in the commodities or mining sector. Experience collaborating with world-class academic institutions to deliver leadership programs, as well as a strategic mindset combined with hands-on expertise in leadership program administration will be preferred. You also have broader HR leadership experience, ideally working in holding companies or have covered international operations. Flexibility for international travel is essential.
