The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Manager to lead our clinical operations across multiple locations. This pivotal leadership role will oversee the delivery of high‑quality patient care, team performance, and operational excellence. You'll be at the forefront of driving clinical efficiency, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive, growth‑oriented team culture as we expand into our next exciting chapter.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, coach, and mentor the clinical team of orthodontic assistants, hygienists, and support staff.
Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to maintain engagement and alignment.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Operational Excellence
Manage day‑to‑day clinical operations across all locations to ensure seamless coordination and patient flow.
Develop and maintain workflows and chair utilisation schedules to maximise efficiency.
Implement systems and tools to ensure consistency and productivity across practices.
Liaise closely with Orthodontists to ensure alignment between clinical priorities and patient needs.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure all clinical procedures adhere to infection control, WHS, and dental board standards.
Maintain and update policies and protocols in accordance with current legislation and best practice.
Conduct regular audits to ensure clinical compliance and readiness for inspections or accreditation.
Patient Experience & Communication
Champion the patient journey by ensuring every interaction reflects Medland's standard of care.
Support the management of clinical concerns, patient feedback, and service recovery processes.
Identify opportunities to improve systems, patient flow, and team efficiency using data and feedback.
Partner with leadership to implement new technologies and treatment innovations.
What We're Looking For
Minimum 3 years' experience in a clinical, dental, or orthodontic leadership role.
Previous experience as a Senior Dental Assistant, Orthodontic Coordinator, or Clinical Manager highly regarded.
Exceptional organisational and time‑management abilities.
Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Proven ability to motivate and engage teams across multiple locations.
Full‑time availability with flexibility to work across locations as required.
