Whats the role
Youll be at the heart of supporting one of Australias most vital sectors Agribusiness (Northwest Tasmania). As a Agribusiness Banking Manager / Relationship Manager based in Smithton TAS youll lead relationships with key players in the agricultural industry while also supporting large commercial clients. Youll work with businesses requiring lending solutions from $3M to $50M helping them grow and thrive. Youll be well supported by our wider Agribusiness team with local support. This full-time role offers the opportunity to make a real impact backed by a dedicated Agribusiness and Commercial Banking team.
What do I need
* Agribusiness Expertise : Deep understanding of the agricultural sector its cycles and its challenges.
* Commercial Acumen : Experience supporting large commercial clients with complex lending needs.
* Relationship Building : Proven ability to foster strong long‑term client partnerships.
* Credit Skills : Strong in cashflow lending balance sheet analysis and deal structuring.
* Business Development : Demonstrated success in acquiring and growing customer portfolios. Including acquiring new-to-bank customers and leveraging a well‑established network of referral sources.
* Network Strength : A well‑established network of industry and referral partners.
