Working alongside qualified andskilled painters, you will gain valuable hands-on experience,mentoring, and ongoing support throughout yourapprenticeship.
ABOUT THE ROLE
* Carrying out measurements and basic calculations
* Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
* Erecting and maintaining trestle and plank systems
* Handling painting and decorating materials
* Using painting and decorating tools and equipment
* Removing and replacing doors, windows, and components
* Preparing surfaces for painting
* Applying paint using brushes and rollers
* Applying textured coating finishes by brush, roller, and spray
ABOUT YOU
* Thesuccessful candidate will have:
* A genuine interest in undertaking a Painting Apprenticeship
* A White Card, or the ability to obtain one as soon as possible
* Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour
* A willingness to learn and work as part of a team
* A positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
* The ability to follow instructions and take direction
* Trustworthiness and motivation
Preferred (but not essential):
* A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
* Previous painting or construction-related work experience
