Role Description
The Community Engagement worker is responsible for supporting individuals in treatment to reduce the impact of problematic drug and alcohol use. This involves addressing lifestyle issues, encouraging adherence to drug and alcohol treatment goals, and improving psychosocial status.
The role requires assertive follow up to community-based referrals and collaboration with a multidisciplinary drug and alcohol team.
