About The Role
The Operations Coordinator – ADF is responsible for managing end‐to‐end freight movements for the ADF account, from supplier through to customer delivery, ensuring transport solutions are cost‐effective, compliant and delivered on time. Working closely with the ADF Planning team, the role provides critical freight data, ETD/ETA visibility, DIFOT reporting and practical supplier and delivery insights that support forecast accuracy and service performance. You'll work cross‐functionally with Planning, Freight Forwarders, Sourcing, Production, Distribution Centres, contractors and Quality Control to ensure goods are delivered on time, in full and in line with customer and regulatory requirements, making this a hands‐on, high‐impact role within a complex and purpose‐driven supply chain.
What You'll Be Doing
* Coordinate day‐to‐day freight movements for the ADF account, from supplier pickup through to delivery at customer or nominated distribution centres.
* Book freight with approved freight forwarders and transport providers, following agreed routes, lead times and consolidation guidelines.
* Track shipments and maintain accurate ETD and ETA information in systems and reports used by Planning and operations teams.
* Monitor freight movements and follow up on delays, delivery issues or documentation gaps, escalating risks to senior team members when required.
* Prepare and check logistics documentation, including packing lists, bills of lading, import/export paperwork and delivery dockets.
* Ensure freight meets customer‐specific requirements such as labelling, pallet configuration, packaging standards and delivery booking processes.
* Coordinate inbound delivery schedules with internal or third‐party distribution centres to support smooth receipting and handover.
* Provide advance notice of inbound shipments to Quality Control teams to support inspection planning and receiving readiness.
* Collect and maintain DIFOT data across suppliers and freight lanes, supporting performance tracking and reporting.
* Assist the ADF Planning team by keeping freight timelines up to date and flagging freight‐related risks that may impact supply.
Who We're Looking For

* Ability to build meaningful relationships, prioritising customers and balancing commercial goals with satisfaction.
* High ethical standards and honesty and integrity in all interactions.
What We're Looking For
* Experience in logistics coordination, freight forwarding or supply chain operations, supporting end‐to‐end freight movements across domestic and/or international lanes.
* Hands‐on experience preparing and managing freight documentation, with a strong understanding of compliance and delivery requirements.
