About You
We are seeking an enthusiastic team-player with strong mechanical aptitude acquired through either a trades qualification or a personal hobby/interest. If you are eager to learn, possess the ability to problem-solve independently, and actively prioritise safety, we encourage you to apply.
You will need to be available for a 12-hour shift, rotating roster across day and night shifts. This roster supports work-life balance, allowing for a solid consecutive break within your rotating roster.
Highly Regarded Applicants May Also Possess The Following
* Trade or degree qualifications in electrical or mechanical disciplines
* Machine operator experience in the FMCG industry
* Experience in a diverse role involving operational and maintenance tasks
* Troubleshooting skills and the ability to use your initiative to investigate machine issues
* A proven track record of implementing continuous improvement initiatives
Key Responsibilities
* Drive preventative maintenance, continuous improvement and testing practices to validate line performance requirements.
* Operating machinery within the facility to produce our materials & beverages.
* Perform daily process area cleaning to maintain company compliance, GMP and HACCP standards.
* Conduct corrective action maintenance activities to ensure machine integrity and operating efficiency is maintained.
* Perform asset management activities on production line.
* Fault find and troubleshoot to reduce machine downtime.
* Conduct quality tests and calibrate machinery ensuring our product meet our high-quality standards.
