- **Salary ranges from $** **145,378 to $168,130 plus employers' contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading**

**About the role**
This role is responsible for leading and managing the successful delivery of vocational education and training (VET) programs and services within the regional community. It also oversees the provision of dedicated support services to apprentices, trainees, and their employers, ensuring that programs are responsive to local industry needs and contribute to positive training and employment outcomes.

**About you**
As the Regional Manager, you will lead the operations of the Regional Centre, driving strategic priorities aligned with state and departmental plans. Your responsibilities will include managing the delivery of support services, building partnerships with industry and training providers, ensuring compliance with the Apprenticeship and Traineeship Act 2001, and promoting VET across the community.

You will play a pivotal role in managing resources, monitoring performance in line with the Smart and Skilled Quality Framework, and delivering responsive, customer-focused services. Your ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships and maintain a deep understanding of the evolving VET landscape will be essential to your success.
- A deep understanding of the Vocational Education and Training sector (highly desirable).
- A strong track record of managing frontline service delivery, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement in a complex and dynamic environment.
- The ability to build strategic partnerships with industry and training providers enables you to drive access to relevant, quality training that meets the evolving needs of the region.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

**Essential requirements of the role**
- A Working with Children Check is an essential requirement for this role. The role has been identified as requiring a check in keeping with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012.
- Current driver's licence and a willingness to travel.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
