About the Role
Estia Health Leopold is a welcoming aged care home located in the coastal town of Leopold on the Bellarine Peninsula, close to Geelong and surrounded by beaches, wineries and a strong local community. Our home offers a friendly, close-knit environment where residents and team members build meaningful connections.
Due to the home's location on the Bellarine Peninsula, applicants are encouraged to consider travel time and accessibility to ensure the role is suitable for ongoing shift commitments.
This Permanent Part Time role involves working set afternoon shifts, M onday to Friday, 2:30pm to 9:15pm.
Every individual in our homes has a story. You'll get to know each one as you:
* Lend a hand with daily life – making sure our residents feel heard, comfy and well-fed
* Work with our team to support those with challenging needs
* Help keep our residents' bodies and minds active
* Keep tabs on our residents' health – helping with treatments
* Be a friend to our residents
* Make sure every resident's privacy and dignity is respected
You'll be a true team player and great communicator, with:
* A real desire to make a difference in people's lives
* A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care
* Time spent working as a caregiver or similar
* Solid clinical documentation and computer skills
