We are a well-regarded boutique Australian Fixed Income Manager, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Investment Operations Analyst to join our team. With our office located at 30 Collins Street in Melbourne, you will report directly to the Head of Operations.

Responsibilities
Perform day-to-day investment operations activities, including trade settlements, reconciliations, and troubleshooting.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of investment transactions, while maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date records.
Collaborate closely with the investment team to provide support in generating attribution reports and conducting performance analysis.
Conduct research and analysis to identify and resolve operational issues, ensuring smooth functioning of investment processes.
Engage in ad-hoc project work aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and implementing process improvements.
Foster effective communication and coordination with internal stakeholders to facilitate seamless operations.
Maintain a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all operational tasks.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in investment operations or a similar role within the asset management industry. Exposure to Fixed Income would be highly regarded.
High proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel
Proficiency with SQL would be highly regarded
Strong analytical abilities, enabling effective problem-solving and sound decision-making.
Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.
Keen attention to detail, emphasising the importance of maintaining high levels of accuracy.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and foster positive relationships.
Demonstrated adaptability in fast-paced and dynamic work environments.
Australian citizenship or permanent residency status required.
