Overview
We're seeking a high-performing Executive Assistant to support the CEO and EGM Commercial in a fast-paced, high-stakes corporate and government environment. This critical role offers a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully during a busy period of operations.
About the Role
This is more than just a typical EA role — we're looking for a confident, professional, and highly organised individual who can manage competing priorities, maintain confidentiality, and engage effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, including senior executives, corporate partners, and government representatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage complex diaries, meetings, travel arrangements, and expenses for CEO & EGM
* Prepare and format Board papers, reports, presentations, and high-level correspondence
* Coordinate internal and external stakeholder meetings, including with government agencies
* Support the preparation of Capex applications, invoices, and purchase orders (Tech One)
* Supervise the Office Coordinator and support day-to-day office operations
* Plan and coordinate key corporate events and stakeholder functions
* Act as a key liaison across Commercial Business Units, ensuring clear communication and follow-through
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience in a senior-level Executive Assistant role
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence in dealing with executives, board members, and government representatives
* Professional communication style and excellent discretion with sensitive information
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, video conferencing, and document management
* A proactive and flexible mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to change
* Eligibility to hold an ASIC and pass an Australian Federal Police Check
* Qualifications in Business Administration
* Experience working with or within government and regulatory environments
* Familiarity with SharePoint and Tech One
