Community Support Worker
We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced individuals to provide high-quality support to people with a disability, older persons, and their carers.
This is a front-line role where you will make a difference in the lives of our clients. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, providing assistance with daily tasks such as transport, light housework, meal preparation, and personal care.
You will also be required to build rapport with clients, providing quality client service and being flexible and adaptable in your work.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
* A strong desire to provide quality client service and build rapport with clients;
* Flexibility and adaptability;
* The ability to provide assistance with a range of tasks, including transport, light housework, meal preparation, and personal care (if qualified);
* A highly professional attitude and the ability to act in a compassionate, non-judgmental manner;
* Certificate III Individual Support/Aged Care or willingness to obtain;
* A current police check less than 3 months old or willingness to undertake one;
* A current First Aid and CPR qualifications or willingness to complete prior to employment;
* A current driver's license and own transport vehicle with comprehensive insurance;
* A smartphone or tablet;
* A current Working with Vulnerable People Card or willingness to obtain one;
* Work rights to work in Australia;
* Fully Covid Immunized, including Booster.
If you have experience working in a similar organisation, it would be beneficial. Additionally, if you speak a community language, it would be highly regarded.
