**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Directors and Managers with delivering services within timeframes, cost and quality.
- Source your own clients, in addition to the work provided to you by Morris Goding and identify opportunities for new business market or clients.
- Assist the development of fee proposals and liaise with clients to identify the project scope and client needs.
- Provide a proactive approach to project delivery and client communication
- Review, assess and provide recommendations of various stages of developments including out of scope works, on-site assessments and reporting - This will include representing MGAC at site visits and client meetings.
- Manage your workflow and work output within client deadlines.
- Achieve a minimum monthly invoicing target.
Qualifications:
- Advice and interpretation of the Access provisions of the Building Regulations and other associated documents including the Disability (Access to Premises - Building) Standards 2010 and Disability Standards for Accessible Public Transport (DSAPT), Asset Standards Authority Accessibility Standards for Rail Infrastructure.
- Advice and interpretation of the Livable Housing Design Standards
- Participation in negotiations with Building Regulatory Authorities.
- Appraisal and assessment of Development Approval conditions.
- Assistance in the selection of materials and construction methods to achieve compliance with the Building Regulations and providing design options to satisfy the relevant Building Regulations.
- Access audits and appraisal of existing and new buildings.
- Determine out of scope works under the BCA guidelines, including accessibility and discuss with your Manager.
- Preparation of Fee Proposals for review by Manager.
- Provide progress reports and workflow reports to Directors and Managers.
- Assessment of all types of buildings for access compliance,
- Conduct Access compliance desktop reviews of design documentation
- Prepare technical Access reporting throughout the design and development approvals process, including 'performance solution' reports and professional expert opinions
- Carry out site inspection and building access audits / appraisals
- Establish access upgrade strategies for buildings
- Effective use of resources and materials in design development of buildings
- Prepare performance solutions for variations to deem to satisfy provisions relating to access
- Prepare technical Access reporting throughout the design and development approvals process, including 'performance solution' reports and professional expert opinions
- Maintain project files and records in line with established business management systems
- Actively seek and report on new business opportunities for the company in relation to accessibility
