Role Overview
This position involves working as a Rehabilitation Consultant, undertaking assessments and developing effective rehabilitation plans to help individuals regain their independence and achieve their goals in life and work.
Main Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive assessments relevant to your discipline to develop and implement tailored rehabilitation plans.
* Design and implement intervention programs using occupation to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity.
* Identify barriers and design, implement, and monitor programs that support individuals to achieve maximal work participation.
* Understand various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empower clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals.
* Liaise with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
Requirements
* Australian recognised degree qualification in Exercise Physiology and ESSA accreditation are essential.
* Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to learn and positively impact people's lives in tangible ways.
* The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey is crucial.
* A commitment to delivering high-quality customer service to clients and customers is required.
* Driving license and access to own vehicle for community-based work are necessary.
* Current or ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance is also required.
