Our restaurant accommodates up to 150 guests, complemented by an intimate, moody wine bar with seating for 50, creating a versatile and memorable setting where exceptional food, wine, and atmosphere come together. With a focus on the highest quality produce and carefully curated wines, Bar Ricci will deliver a dining experience unlike anything the Gold Coast has ever seen.
We are seeking an accomplished Assistant General Manager, reporting to the General Manager, to join our opening team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in all aspects of day-to-day operations.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Maintain the highest standards of service, professionalism, and presentation.
- Assist with recruitment, rostering, and staff development.
- Oversee floor operations, reservations, and guest relations.
- Ensure compliance with financial targets, stock control, and operational systems.
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service.
About You
- Proven leadership experience in fine dining or premium hospitality.
- Minimum 2-3 years of leadership experience in fine dining or premium hospitality is required.
- Department manager level leadership experience is essential for this role.
- Strong operational knowledge and organisational skills.
- Excellent people management and communication abilities.
- A guest-first mindset, with an eye for detail and a calm approach under pressure.
- Passion for Italian food, wine, and culture a strong advantage.
- Australian work rights are required for this position.
