The Role
Reporting to the Assistant Director - ICT Procurement Team, the Senior ICT Procurement Officer is primarily responsible for procuring a broad range of ICT contractor and ICT consultancy Managed services. The occupant will also support the procurement of Software, Cloud hosting, Telco and Hardware including maintenance and support services.
The occupant of this role will manage a small team of ICT Procurement officers, provide accurate procurement related advice, draft documentation in preparation for market approaches, seek quotes, and create/maintain system related procurement entries and records. The occupants will need to be motivated, well organised, and have demonstrated procurement knowledge/experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the APS Level 6 Senior ICT Procurement Officer may include:
* Providing procurement related advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
* Developing procurement plans, approach to market documentation.
* Submitting opportunities to the market, downloading responses, and distributing for evaluation.
* Drafting contract order forms for the goods/services and arranging sign off.
* Creating and maintaining procurement records in both the financial management and records management systems.
* Support contract management activities including regular reporting and check-ins with suppliers and vendors, managing and building quality business relationships.
* Managing ICT Procurement officers and providing guidance and on-the-job training to team members.

Eligibility
