About the Role:
As a our Case Support Worker, you'll support children and young people in Foster Care and Kinship Care through practical, social and recreational activities that build confidence, connection and stability.
Working alongside Placement and Case Workers, you'll form safe, trusting relationships with young people who may be living away from home for the first time or navigating periods of transition. You'll bring a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach, balancing warmth with professionalism, clear boundaries and confidentiality.
This casual role suits someone who is reflective, values learning, and is committed to embedding trauma-informed practice, with training and development supported as part of the role.
Do your skills include:
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the appropriate legislation, case management practice, and the ability to adhere to policy and procedures.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to demonstrate experience in liaising with a diverse range of clients.
* Ability to assist in the development and implementation of programs and group activities that enhance the lives of children and young people.
* Demonstrated ability to ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people whilst engaged in activities.
* Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and standards, case management practices and policies.
Are your credentials:
* A minimum qualification of a Certificate IV in Community Services or equivalent and one or more years work experience (Qualifications must be approved by recognised professional bodies: ie. AASW, Community Services Council, APS etc.)
* A current Drivers Licence and willingness to drive.
