We are looking for a Team Leader to join our team.
The Team Leader will be responsible for assisting with the efficient supervision of the department according to the established brand standards.
This role involves working amongst a team of 10, supporting the Assistant Manager in supervising and managing the day-to-day operations as well as supporting the team to achieve our purpose.
This varied and dynamic role provides a chance to develop your Hospitality career within an international company; either in Australia or overseas.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Conducting pre-shift briefings to ensure the team is fully briefed on the days activities
- Providing leadership to a diverse team to ensure we deliver exceptional service to all guests
- Delivering In Room dining and amenities to guest rooms in a timely manner
- Providing personalized service to all guests to ensure they have a memorable stay
- Assisting with creating and communicating the rosters and delegation of tasks and responsibilities
- Providing training and onboarding support for new associates within the department
- Monitoring operation supplies and reducing spoilage and wastage
- Ensuring all employees deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times
- Liaising with all necessary departments to ensure the productivity of the outlet is successful in its daily operations
- Opening and closing the outlet as required
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous supervisory / managerial experience in a similar role or fast-paced environment would be advantageous
- A current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
- People management and interpersonal skills along with strong communication skills
- The flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
