Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our organic processing operations in Queensland. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for driving growth through securing input volumes, developing market share, and achieving optimal commercial agreements.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategies to grow organics processing capacity and market share in Queensland.
* Lead and drive tenders for organics facilities in Queensland and secure volumes for existing or planned facilities.
* Support project management of new organics infrastructure development.
* Develop and maintain relationships with industry bodies and government agencies to offer technical information and support policy development.
* Liaise with councils and industry clients to develop business opportunities and create end markets for finished products.
* Devise strategies to improve operational and technical efficiency in organic facilities.
* Manage a team to ensure business results are achieved.
* Ensure stakeholder expectations are met and contracts are fulfilled.
* Provide technical support and process improvements to existing organic facilities.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Proven experience in organics recycling, composting, agricultural operations, mining operations, and primary industries.
* Demonstrated proficiency in strategy development, tender writing, and business growth.
* Solid understanding of regulatory compliance and ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
* Strong project management and technical planning skills.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Experience with financial reporting and administration.
