Job Description
We are now seeking an experienced Planner to join our team working on critical maintenance activities and upgrade works across Melbourne’s iconic CityLink and the new West Gate Tunnel.
What you’ll bring
Ideally, you will possess a Tertiary Qualification in Engineering or similar and experience managing long-term dynamic works programs in the fields of civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical along with:
* Demonstrated planning capability in maintenance services, preferably road maintenance;
* Demonstrated ability to design and implement maintenance management systems, processes, and training material;
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver training;
* Use a systems thinking approach to review and develop new processes and streamline transactional activities;
* Experience coordinating large teams, forecasting, tracking, and optimizing resource levels within dynamic works programs;
* Experience in developing operational performance dashboards;
* Demonstrated ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders;
* Experience working with dynamic scheduling software;
* Knowledge of best practices in road and tunnel maintenance and a proven ability to document scopes of work;
* Experience in planning and scheduling of works;
* Demonstrated ability to manage and execute projects;
* A reputation based on trust by delivering on promises with excellence while focusing on safety, value for money, and efficiency;
* Strong safety focus with demonstrated evidence of actively promoting and sustaining a Zero harm environment.
