We are seeking an experienced Security Architect to support a high‐impact government environment based onsite in Canberra.
This is an 18 month contract role requiring NV2 or TSPV security clearance.
What You'll Do
* Design and develop security architectures across current, transitional and future states
* Define, validate and trace security requirements across systems and solutions
* Assess solution designs against security frameworks, identifying risks and improvement opportunities
* Conduct gap analysis between current and target architectures, providing risk‐based recommendations
* Provide expert advice on security considerations for solution implementation and change requests
* Support governance processes, contributing to design approvals and stakeholder forums
* Ensure alignment with organisational security strategies, policies and standards
* Contribute to continuous improvement of security practices and architecture capability
What You'll Bring
* Proven depth of experience in security architecture
* Strong capability in information assurance and security risk management
* Experience designing secure solutions across complex or enterprise environments
* Ability to interpret and apply security frameworks, policies and standards
* Strong analytical skills with experience in risk assessment, gap analysis and architecture design
* Experience contributing to solution architecture and system design decisions
* The ability to provide clear, expert advice to technical and non‐technical stakeholders
* A relevant qualification in Computer Science or a related discipline
