Regional Program Officer - Community Engagement Specialist
The Regional Program Officer provides support to the coordination and facilitation of community engagement programs in regional Victoria, focusing on building strong relationships with local communities, schools, and sporting clubs. This role is responsible for:
* Facilitating the promotion and registration of community programs in regional areas.
* Building and maintaining relationships with program delivery partners, schools, students, volunteers, and other key organizations.
* Providing ongoing support, encouragement, and guidance to program participants and volunteers.
* Identifying and mitigating risks to participants and the program.
* Engaging with local sporting clubs in regional Victoria areas to promote community programs.
* Helping deliver community events and activities that promote social inclusion and wellbeing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
* A Bachelor's degree in Youth Work, Social Work, community development, or a related field.
* Strong connection to the Horsham, West Wimmera, and/or Yarriambiack community in Victoria.
* Organized and efficient administration skills and time management.
* Workshop facilitation skills.
