We are seeking a skilled Florist/Sales Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about flowers and have excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Create visually appealing floral designs for the shop front to enhance the customer experience.
* Collaborate with the team to deliver event florals, wedding arrangements, and funeral tributes on time and within budget.
* Maintain the overall presentation and cleanliness of the shop to ensure a welcoming environment for customers.
* Process flower stock and condition blooms to ensure optimal freshness and quality.
* Provide exceptional support to the team during peak periods, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
* A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in floristry or currently studying floristry.
* The ability to work confidently independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and effective communication.
* A keen eye for detail and genuine passion for flowers, with a creative flair and willingness to learn and adapt.
* Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Availability to work 4-5 days per week, including alternate Saturdays.
* Comfortable working on busy floral periods such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, etc.
