We provide national leadership on the implementation of the National Quality Framework ( NQF ) and collaborate with the Australian and state and territory governments to:
• implement changes that benefit children birth to 13 years-of-age and their families
• monitor and promote the consistent application of the Education and Care Services National Law across all states and territories
• support the early childhood education and care sector to improve quality outcomes for children

The Role
The Senior Instructional Designer will collaborate with subject matter experts and members of the eLearning team to create engaging, self-paced eLearning resources for a range of training programs that support both internal and external stakeholders of ACECQA.
This role is full time and fixed-term (12 months) at ACECQA Band 5 ($103,179 - $122,039).
The key duties of the position include
Key Accountabilities
• Design and develop instructionally sound eLearning resources for adult learners, using best practices in instructional design and incorporating feedback from subject matter experts and stakeholders.
• Coordinate learning content development with subject matter experts within ACECQA and external stakeholders to review and refine eLearning activities, assessments, and content to ensure they are aligned with learning objectives, instructional design principles, and industry standards.
• Contribute to the development of multimedia assets, including images, audio, video, and animation for inclusion in eLearning resources, on the ACECQA website, and for use as standalone assets, ensuring they are relevant, high quality, and aligned with instructional design principles and branding guidelines.
• Manage projects to develop and implement eLearning resources and initiatives, proactively identifying and resolving issues and risks, as well as technical and development issues, to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products that meet stakeholder needs.
• Implement quality assurance processes and corporate style and branding standards to ensure that all eLearning resources, initiatives, and communications meet the high-quality standards of ACECQA and protect the organisation's reputation.
• Identify system and process enhancements to contribute to the continuous improvement of eLearning and digital resource production at ACECQA, ensuring that production processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with best practices in instructional design and digital content creation.
• Other duties as required.
