Your new role
As an IT Support Officer, you'll be responsible for providing technical support across the organisation, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and resolving user issues efficiently. You'll work within a Windows-based environment, supporting systems and users across various levels, and contributing to the stability and reliability of the IT infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include:
Responding to and resolving support tickets in a timely manner
Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
Supporting and maintaining Active Directory and Entra ID environments
Assisting with basic networking tasks including DHCP and DNS
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure consistent IT service delivery
Documenting support processes and contributing to IT improvement initiatives
What you'll need to succeed
Experience & Skills:
Previous experience in an IT support role proving Level 1/2 support
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and user support
Experience with Active Directory and Entra ID
Basic networking knowledge including DHCP and DNS
Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues
Technology Experience:
Windows OS and desktop support
Active Directory / Entra ID
Basic networking (DHCP, DNS)
Ticketing systems and remote support tools
