Senior Business Support Officer – Local Government
An exciting opportunity to provide senior business support to the City Operations Group with Local Government. This role will see you undertake project work and oversee the administrative coordination and customer service tasks to ensure effective and efficient delivery of departmental operations.
1. $34.79 Hourly Rate + 11% Super
2. Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm
3. Thornlands Location – Work Close to Home!

A Day in the Life:
7. Provide high-level administrative support to Service Manager and team, ensuring efficient workflow and project management
8. Coordinate and maintain work procedures, lead administrative initiatives, and system improvements
9. Deliver exceptional customer service, resolving inquiries promptly for internal and external customers
10. Assist in financial management processes, including requisitions, purchase orders, and invoice control
11. Actively contribute to unit objectives, ensuring continual improvement in team performance through training and support
The Ideal Candidate:
12. Current C Class Licence
13. 3 years’ experience in the relevant field
14. Well-developed skills in providing high level administrative support to senior management.
15. Sound computer literacy skills and demonstrated experience in research and analysis.
16. Tertiary qualification in business, administration or equivalent.
17. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
