We are currently seeking a Furniture Installer/ Driver to join our team in Lidcombe. This is a full time/40 hour per week position, working a fixed roster of 7:30am – 4:00pm Monday to Friday. Additional hours are required from time to time to meet business and customer requirements.
You will also be required to undergo a Police Check to be able to work across our varied customer sites.
Construction White Card would be highly regarded and other qualifications highly regarded.
In this role, you will be undertaking the following tasks, but not limited to:-
* Driving a vehicle up to 4.5 tonne
* Assembly of office furniture onsite such as desks, meeting tables and reception counters
* Check, load, unload, deliver and assemble office furniture in a safe and timely manner
* Work in a two-man team and use our company vehicles in a safe, courteous, professional and appropriate manner
* Communicate with our team, customers and suppliers in a safe, courteous, professional and appropriate manner that lives up to our reputation of excelling our customers' needs and requirements every single time
* Check that all goods to be collected / delivered match the product details/descriptions/serial numbers on invoices, delivery dockets etc
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:-
* An eye for detail and quality workmanship
* Physically fit, able to lift and move heavy items regularly
* Have excellent customer service and communication skills as you are the face of our business when interacting with customers
* Ability and willingness to learn on the job
* Must have a drivers licence and comfortable with driving a vehicle up to 4.5 tonne
