Supported Independent Living (SIL) is supporting people with disability in shared housing or in their own home, providing various supports including personal care and daily living assistance.We are currently looking to fill 1 permanent part time position.
You must be available for the following:Week 1Friday 11pm to 9am (Active Overnight)Saturday 11pm to 9am (Active Overnight)Sunday 12am to 10am (Active Overnight)Week 2Tuesday 11pm to 9am (Active Overnight)Friday 6am to 3pm Please Note: It is important to understand that our clients' needs, and their support plans can change which also means that our roster lines may change and will be confirmed at the time of offer.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport 4 clients, 3 males and 1 female who display high behavioursAssist with personal care tasks (e.g. bathing, dressing) and manual handlingImplement person-centred active support and follow behaviour support plansLog daily care and changes in needs to ensure informed, coordinated supportSkills & ExperienceAn unrestricted New South Wales driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicleDemonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on a mobile and desktopA current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011Successful candidates will be required to clear all state-based probity checks; including but not limited to a National Criminal History Record Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.Pay rates starting from $***** as per the SCHADS AwardAccess to employee assistance programs and Fitness Passport for personal wellbeingEnjoy salary packaging on everyday living expenses (including mortgage, rent and bills)About the OrganisationLife Without Barriers is a leading social purpose, not for profit organisation of 8,000 employees working in more than 500 communities across Australia.
