We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Lifestyle and Wellbeing Assistant to join our friendly team on a Casual basis.
As the Wellbeing/Lifestyle Assistant you will be assisting in the delivery of meaningful, person centred activities, enhancing the social, mental and physical wellbeing of our residents.
What you will be doing:
* Implementing social calendars and wellbeing programs
* Delivering meaningful and person centred activities
* Facilitating exercises, events, games and other recreational activities
* Engaging with residents, family members and a skilled Care team
About You:
* Experience delivering Lifestyle programs and activities
* Certificates in Aged Care/Individual Support or Lifestyle/Leisure beneficial
* A fun and energetic personality with a passion for making a difference
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
* Experience in Horticulture, Art, Craft, Woodworking, Floristry, Jewellery making would be highly regarded
* NDIS Screening Check and NDIS Training Module (or willing to obtain)
* Experience working with residents living with Dementia advantageous
