We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Lifestyle and Wellbeing Assistant to join our friendly team on a
Casual
basis.
As the
Wellbeing/Lifestyle Assistant
you will be assisting in the delivery of meaningful, person-centred activities, enhancing the social, mental and physical wellbeing of our residents.
Responsibilities
Implementing social calendars and wellbeing programs
Delivering meaningful and person-centred activities
Facilitating exercises, events, games and other recreational activities
Engaging with residents, family members, and a skilled Care team
About You
Experience delivering Lifestyle programs and activities
Certificates in Aged Care/Individual Support or Lifestyle/Leisure beneficial
A fun and energetic personality with a passion for making a difference
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience in Horticulture, Art, Craft, Woodworking, Floristry, Jewellery making would be highly regarded
NDIS Screening Check and NDIS Training Module (or willing to obtain)
Experience working with residents living with Dementia advantageous
