About the role
We are seeking a proactive and adaptable self-starter who excels at managing competing priorities, has exceptional organisational skills, and is dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service.
The Clinical Support Officer (CSO) will collaborate closely with Nurse Unit Managers (NUMs) and the broader nursing administration team, providing comprehensive administrative support with a strong emphasis on teamwork. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient delivery of high-level administrative services.
To thrive in this position, you should possess strong administration skills, a solid understanding of administrative functions that support the delivery of health services, and the ability to quickly adjust to shifting priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to confidentiality are essential.
This position is based at the Mental Health Drug & Alcohol Services (MHDA) – Bloomfield Campus.
MHDA Bloomfield Campus offers a wide range of inpatient services, including a child and adolescent unit, a state-wide forensic rehabilitation unit, a mental health intensive care unit, an adult acute unit, an older person's acute unit, and various non-acute state-wide and district inpatient units for adults and older individuals.
Successful applicants will be required to attend a comprehensive orientation program on commencement and be willing to complete any other relevant training deemed necessary to fulfil duties of the position.
