Salary: $130,000 – $150,000 + Super Our client is seeking a commercially focused Senior Quantity Surveyor / Associate to join their growing consultancy in Newcastle or Sydney.
This leadership opportunity combines hands-on project delivery with a strong emphasis on business development.
The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and a strong professional network, with the ability to drive growth through new clients, service lines, or market sectors.
Their current portfolio includes commercial (industrial, retail, warehouse) and residential projects, with an approximate split of 30% commercial and 70% residential.
Candidates with experience outside these sectors are also encouraged to apply—provided they bring the capability to win work.

Managing all costs related to the building aspects of multiple projects.? Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.? Preparing cost plans, managing budgets, and ensuring financial efficiency.? Supporting and mentoring junior team members.? Working independently while collaborating with a skilled team.
What You'll Need ?? Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally at a senior level.?? Strong cost planning, financial management, and presentation skills.?? Excellent communication – you know how to build solid working relationships.?? Ability to work independently and as part of a team.??? A passion for the construction industry and an eye for detail.
