Everyday Bread is a young innovative Bakery. We maintain a strong focus on artisanal baking methods, using a mix of sustainable & organically grown grain, honouring time and technique to produce delicious bread for everyone to eat.
We are in our initial growth phase and are ready to transition a strong baker into the role of head baker as we begin to research and refine new lines.
As the head baker, you will be expected to
- Lead a growing team of passionate bakers and apprentices
- Overseeing and working in the production of baked goods
- Training of new staff
- Work collaboratively in developing new products
- Overseeing the production for wholesale and retail
- Training of new staff
- Quality control and troubleshooting
- Be proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Manage rostering
- Stock control
We are looking for someone with 5+ years of experience as an artisan baker
Experience as a head baker/2IC or a strong desire to go to lead a team and run production
In return, you will be remunerated between $80,000 - $100,000 & enjoy a 9-day working fortnight with no night shift
**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
