Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional or senior professional drainage engineer to join our Melbourne-based Water Resources team.
By joining our team, you will work on the most transformative projects and have access to mentoring and guidance from our industry-leading specialists. You will also be provided with opportunities to collaborate across interstate and international offices as part of the broader Water Resources sector.
How you'll make a difference
* Be part of a high-performing team specialising in drainage design schemes across all project stages, from strategic planning and concept design to detailed design and construction phase support, while ensuring a strong emphasis on technical excellence.
* Contribute to an exciting and diverse portfolio of projects across all market sectors, including energy, transport, water, environment and government, across Victoria and beyond.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across a range of geographies to deliver integrated outcomes.
* Work on a wide range of engaging and challenging projects and, where appropriate, assist with supervision, leadership and mentoring responsibilities to support the development of junior staff.
Qualifications

The qualities that help you thrive
* Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, with RPEV / CPEng (or working towards) highly regarded.
* High level of proficiency using industry-standard drainage analysis and design software technology applications (e.g. 12D, DRAINS, MUSICX, HY-8), along with a strong working knowledge of industry standards and guidelines, applicable to local industries and market sectors.
* Strong client focus with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
* Highly motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work both independently and within teams, and contribute effectively to projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
