Health, Medical & PharmaceuticalSource: uWorkinJOB DESCRIPTIONAn exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Nurse/Midwife Coach to join Inpatient Unit 4D – Urology/Gynaecology at Sunshine Coast University Hospital. Part of Surgical and Critical Care Services, this dynamic unit provides specialist inpatient care across urology and gynaecology specialties. The Clinical Coach will work within the Clinical Coach Framework to lead and deliver person-centred care and point-of-care education to nursing and midwifery staff and undergraduate students. This role fosters a learning culture, promotes evidence-based practice, and builds confidence and competence within the team. Reporting to both the Nurse Unit Manager and Nurse Educator, you will support educational governance and contribute to safe, high-quality patient outcomes.Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.Sunshine Coast Health is a values-based organisation. We respect, protect and promote human rights in our decision-making and actions.Key Responsibilities include:Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being understand to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) – State 2015 – Generic Level Statements Nurse Grade 6, Band 1 and the Queensland Public Service values.Understand your broad responsibilities for safety and quality in healthcare, actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace and notify a relevant clinical or non-clinical responsible officer when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety.Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.Contribute to quality health care and the Nursing / Midwifery profession by providing advanced educational leadership and clinical and educational governance, and facilitating team participation in lifelong learning, research activities and the continued development of clinical practice.Remuneration value up to $131 900 p.a., comprising salary between $107 960 - $115 604 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 Band 1).
