Regional Director of IT - La Vie Hotels & Resorts
Reporting to the Group's Chief Financial Officer, this role is responsible for the IT platform for La Vie Hotels & Resort's in Australia and Asia region, leading and managing the IT operations across properties to ensure reliable, robust systems, security, policies and processes are in place.
This role is a full-time role and is based in the Corporate Office in Sydney with intra-state and interstate travel as required. With the growing importance of IT innovation within the hospitality industry, this is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about innovative technology to be a pivotal contributor to shaping the technology path of La Vie.
About the role
* Execute or manage day-to-day IT operational activities across infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, cloud environments, enterprise applications and user support.
* Collaborating closely with the Leadership team, develop and execute a long-term IT and digital transformation roadmap aligned with La Vie's growth strategy.
* Manage key vendor partnerships to ensure IT operational system functionality and support is optimized.
* Drive technology platform improvements, streamlining processes, documentation, and standard practices.
* Ensure successful technology project delivery, enabling smooth handover to departments with training, and post implementation support.
* Provide input into budgeting, forecasting and prioritisation of IT investments at the enterprise level.
* Key contributor to establishing IT policies & procedures and establishing overall best practices.
* Other tasks and responsibilities as reasonably requested by the Manager or equivalent.
About you
* Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in ICT, Business Systems or a related Business discipline.
* Extensive experience leading a technology function across infrastructure and service delivery.
* Strong knowledge of ERP systems - upgrades and integrations.
* Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
* Confident in leading technology projects from conception to successful transition.
* Management experience in the hospitality / accommodation industry desirable.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written to address all levels within the organization and ability to gain consensus.
* Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Strong job ownership and independence with a focus on getting tasks completed within deadlines.
* Demonstrated ability to assess and understand a variety of internal and external IT and business issues which impact the business with a focus on providing solutions.
