A.B. Paterson College is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and dynamic Drama Teacher to inspire and engage students through the performing arts.
This is a full-time, permanent position commencing in Term 1, 2026.
We are looking for an educator who brings creativity, professionalism, and enthusiasm to the classroom, and who is committed to fostering a love of drama and performance in students of all ages.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and inclusive drama lessons that foster creativity, confidence, and a love for the performing arts, while meeting diverse learning styles and curriculum standards.
- Create a respectful and supportive classroom environment, using effective behaviour management strategies that promote self-discipline, empathy, and student wellbeing.
- Monitor and support student academic progress, provide timely feedback, and implement strategies to improve performance and study skills.
- Contribute to the College’s pastoral care and co-curricular programs, supporting students’ personal, social, and emotional development.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development to promote continuous improvement and strong community.
A candidate should meet the following expectations:
- A qualified and experienced Drama Teacher.

- Embraces innovation and continuous improvement in teaching practice.
- Strong background and knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and QCAA syllabus.
- Up-to-date IT and digital classroom resource skills.
- Current CPR and First Aid training or willingness to obtain.
- Current Teacher Registration is required.
