Your Opportunity
You will lead a team of approximately 33 staff and manage an annual operating budget of around $20 million. Your role includes coordinating and monitoring the Games infrastructure portfolio, overseeing the Games Independent Infrastructure Coordination Authority's (GIICA) delivery of the Venues Program, and leading the delivery of the Villages Program. You will work closely with Brisbane 2032, GIICA, central agencies, and Commonwealth partners to ensure Queensland meets its commitments to the International Olympic Committee while creating lasting legacy benefits for communities.

Your Responsibilities – In This Role, You Will
* Lead portfolio management coordination and reporting for Games infrastructure programmes.
* Oversee GIICA's delivery of the Venues Programme and lead the Villages Programme, including structuring, procurement, and negotiation of transactions worth up to $3.5 billion.
* Monitor and report on implementation of the Queensland Government's 2032 Delivery Plan for venues, villages, and transport infrastructure.
* Negotiate and manage the $7.1 billion Brisbane 2032 Intergovernmental Agreement and associated funding agreements.
* Provide strategic advice to the Minister on legislative and corporate responsibilities for Games entities.
* Represent the Department at governance forums, industry briefings, and meetings with elected officials.
* Develop and implement engagement strategies to support successful programme delivery.
