The Role

The Head of Clinical Operations & Governance at CARED will play a pivotal role in leading clinical operations particularly focused on bringing maturity to the way in which our healthcare practitioners work and how we recruit them in alignment with business growth and expansion.

This role requires a dynamic, hands‐on leader who can balance service delivery excellence, workforce scaling, and clinical outcomes in a fast‐paced environment. They will work closely with:

* The Marketing and Growth team to align clinical capacity with demand generation
* The Product and Tech team to ensure governance and automation are embedded in clinical workflows
* The Clinical Operations Lead to support client bookings, service coordination, and experience

Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will oversee provider recruitment, service delivery standards, compliance, and performance metrics, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and clinical excellence.

This is a unique opportunity to support scaling a health‐tech, helping CARED expand across allied health, NDIS, aged care, and broader markets.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and optimise end‐to‐end clinical operations across all service lines (NDIS, aged care, allied health). Ensure adherence to evidence‐based practices and ethical standards.
* Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks; collaborate with Product to build scalable, automated workflows.
* Champion a high‐quality, consistent experience for clients and providers across all touchpoints.
* Resolve escalated concerns and implement feedback loops to improve satisfaction and retention.
* Ensure compliance with NDIS, aged care, and allied health regulations and standards.
* Develop and implement governance frameworks to ensure safety, quality, and accountability.
* Monitor clinical outcomes, risk management, and incident reporting.
* Lead audits, reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Build and manage a high‐performing network of OTs, physios, psychologists, nurses, and support staff.
* Lead workforce planning and provider recruitment aligned with growth forecasts.
* Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

About You

* AHPRA Registered clinical background (preferably Occupational Therapist).
* Strong clinical experience and leading a multi‐disciplinary team.
* Extensive experience in governance and delivering best practice to achieve desired outcomes.
* Familiarity with NDIS and Aged Care Frameworks and Quality Standards
* Excel in lean, agile environments where you roll up your sleeves to turn visions into reality.
* Have hands‐on experience recruiting and scaling clinical or allied health teams that deliver outstanding results.
* Bring sharp commercial and financial savvy to drive sustainable growth.
* Seamlessly blend big‐picture strategy with tactical execution.
* Communicate with charisma, building strong relationships with stakeholders at every level.
* Burn with passion for enhancing health outcomes and amplifying services that truly change lives.
