Occupational Therapist Role
About the Position
We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our team in a flexible community-based role.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload that aligns with your areas of interest
* Conduct clinical assessments across various domains, including emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical functions
* Develop individualised, evidence-based therapy goals and interventions
* Provide environmental modification advice for various settings
* Recommending and facilitating Assistive Technology (AT) to promote independence
* Ensure compliance with current legislation and NDIS guidelines
* Work collaboratively within a supportive, multidisciplinary team
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
* Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
* A proactive, client-centred mindset with a desire to innovate and grow
* A genuine passion for working in the disability and community sector
* The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
* An interest in pediatrics, complex needs, or adult caseloads
