Job description
We are currently seeking an exceptional Bartender / All-Rounder with a professional manner to work at Union University and Schools Club from Monday to Friday, approximately 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm.
Union University and Schools Club is located on Bent Street, just a short stroll from Martin Place and Circular Quay. UUSC is a members-only Club that provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as functions, corporate meetings, and special events.
We are looking for people who are guest-focused, friendly, attentive, and have a "can do" attitude to ensure our members and guests receive exceptional service.
Your key duties will include:
* Serving drinks, including cocktails, wine, and beverages
* Table service
* Setting up and breaking down dining and function areas
* Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of all service areas, treating the bar as if it were your own
* Refilling stock, checking inventory, and ensuring bar equipment and glassware are ready for service
* Supporting team members with general Club operational duties
* Taking pride in the bar and ensuring it is well-presented, fully stocked, and run efficiently
You will have:
* Preferably education or training in hospitality
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in hospitality or bar service
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Impeccable presentation and grooming
* Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
* Flexible availability to work Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm
* A strong sense of responsibility and pride in your work
* A willingness to learn, grow, and develop your skills
* Right to work in Australia
