Northern Wildcatch Seafood Australia Pty Ltd are seeking skippers with trap, dropline or cray experience for 5 x 24m state of the art vessels. NWSA group is Australia's largest catcher of Goldband Snapper working out of ports of Darwin and Broome all year round.
We value safety first, a drug free environment and seek skippers with a history of being able to manage men, machinery and vessels.
* Skipper 5/MED2 qualification is a pre-requisite.
* Minimum 3 years relevant experience
* The ability to lead the team by example on the vessel.
* An understanding and expertise of vessel electronics.
* Focused on high quality catches.
* An understanding and strong focus of boat and marine safety.
* Strong communication skills with the onshore team.
