The Opportunity
Our Lysaght business is looking for an Operations Team Member to join the Production Team based in Townsville. Made in Australia since, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects. Our Team Members are at the heart of our operations, playing a key role in creating innovative solutions for our customers. You'll work with cutting‐edge machinery, ensuring the highest quality standards while prioritising safety, for both yourself and the team. You'll work on a rotating roster across Day and Afternoon Shift, with shorter Fridays built in, supporting a work‐life balance:
* Day Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm (Mon‐Thu), 6:00am – 12:00pm (Fri)
* Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm (Mon‐Thu), 2:00pm – 6:00pm (Fri)
What Will You Do?
* Operating processing machinery (training provided)
* Loading and unloading steel products safely
* Manual handling tasks including packing and strapping customer orders to specification
* Learning to operate forklifts and gantry cranes
* Supporting your teammates to keep production running smoothly and safely
