About Our Client

Job Description
* Oversee all financial accounting, management reporting, forecasting, and statutory compliance requirements, ensuring records and reporting meet Corporations Act standards.
* Maintain and strengthen internal controls, documented processes, and financial governance across the business.
* Lead quarterly, half‐year and year‐end financial reporting, liaise with auditors, and provide timely financial information to senior leadership.
* Manage financial transactions, reconciliations, payroll, tax lodgements, and all related financial operations.
* Support budgeting, proposals, cost reporting, tendering, contract award, and contract management activities.
* Prepare financial and management reports, maintain financial models (including royalty models), and contribute to due diligence processes.
* Assist with governance, compliance, and corporate administration, including support for board/committee papers, shareholder communications, and annual reporting.
The Successful Applicant A Successful Financial Controller Should Have
* A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
* Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA) is highly desirable.
* Proven experience working within resources, exploration is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
* Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
