Naval Architect Lead
This is a senior role that involves leading technical teams in the design and development of submarines. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and overseeing large-scale engineering projects.
The key areas of focus for this position include trim and stability, shock and vibration, hydrostatics, dockings, shipyard infrastructure, and general structural engineering. Strong knowledge of submarine design principles and regulatory requirements is essential.
Requirements
* Bachelor of Engineering, Naval Architecture or similar degree with strong academic record.
* Proven leadership experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams of engineers and technical personnel.
* Strong understanding of Defence Seaworthiness Management System (DSWMS) and its application to Engineering Delegations and Risk Levels.
