Offer description

Product Manager

We are seeking a driven and passionate professional to lead our product roadmap for a community-led platform.

You will work closely with our internal tech team and report directly to the Head of Product. Your focus will be on developing features that foster engagement, support regional localisation across Australia and in the USA, and create a best-in-class digital experience for members.

About the Role

* Own and drive the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements gathering, and roadmap development.
* Design and deliver community-driven features that enhance member engagement, drawing inspiration from leading sports community platforms (e.g., Strava, Peloton, Freeletics etc).
* Lead the localisation of product experiences for different regions (e.g., tailoring features for Australian states and the US market).
* Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure seamless delivery of new features, using a tech stack that includes React Native, TypeScript, MySQL and AWS.
* Analyse product usage data and feedback to inform iterative improvements and validate product decisions.
* Champion a user-centric approach, continuously seeking ways to improve the member experience and deliver measurable business outcomes.
* Manage and communicate the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company strategy and stakeholder expectations.
* Foster a collaborative, startup-minded culture and contribute to building Future Golf's internal product and technology capabilities.
* Support the transition from contractor/external vendor based development to a more traditional, in-house delivery team.

Requirements

* 3–5+ years' experience in product management, with a focus on consumer-facing mobile applications.
* Proven success designing and launching community engagement features for digital platforms, ideally in sports, fitness, or social networking (e.g., Strava, similar apps).
* Strong understanding of regional localisation requirements and experience adapting products for the unique needs of users in multiple markets.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, especially engineering (React Native, TypeScript, NodeJS/ExpressJS, NoSQL AWS).
* Startup or scale-up mentality: hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
* Willingness to work from an office 2–3 days per week, with flexible arrangements available.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working on Mobile App first/Consumer/SaaS products.
* Experience in the sports, fitness, community first or golf technology sectors.
* Prior involvement in building or scaling community-led products.
* Familiarity with UX/CX best practices and iterative product development.
