Overview
Public Sector People (PSP) is currently looking for a junior Communications professional or recent graduate who would be interested in a 3 month contract to join a Sydney based local council.
* Immediate State
* Sydney metro
* 6 month contract
* $35 - $40 p/h + Super
* 35 hrs per week Monday - Friday
* Experience in within a support role in Marketing & Communications
Responsibilities
This role is to help support the Communications team with the delivery of Council communications by creating clear, engaging and accessible content across digital channels.
Qualifications
* Degree in communications, media, marketing or a related field
* Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, plain English content
* Demonstrated ability to create social media content using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite
* Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines and follow processes
* Ability to work collaboratively and respond to feedback
